What Is The Local Arts Initiative?
The Initiative is a small grants program funded through events and donations from The Local Taphouse St.Kilda - proud supporter of young people, the arts and local community.
The Local Arts Initiative is designed to seed the raw talent of aspiring young artists who face disadvantage to help them achieve their creative dreams.

The Local arts Initiative aims to:
Provide accessible grants to disadvantaged young artists across artistic mediums

Demonstrate the capacity of arts as positive and powerful social development tool for young people
Create links between artists, industry folk, young people and the local community
Assist young artists to display/perform their work in the public forum
Encourage innovation and to develop experimental concepts

Who can apply?
