Uncovered Circus

The Circus is back this Midsumma with the new creation by Uncovered Circus. In what promises to be an explosion of movement and colour, Spectrum takes small tastes and inspiration from various elements of the scope of sexuality and gender to challenge stereotypes and celebrate the diversity in the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies.

Just like the spectrum of colour is full nuances, this show takes the expected expressions of gender and sexuality and turns them on their head. Sometimes literally. From the sexually adventurous to the asexual, to cheeky romance and the taboo, we express ouselves in any number of ways and it’s this melting pot of experiences that gives birth to this show.
This cast of up and coming stars of the circus world will dazzle you with death defying feats, touch you with the stories of our community, new and old and might even make you laugh.

Combining the athleticism of acrobatics, the anticipation of burlesque and the absurdity of clown this show will have you wondering what’s coming next and feeling all the colours of the rainbow!
