Gasworks Day Out is an opportunity for you to explore your neighbourhood arts precinct. Meet our resident artists, enjoy a short snippet from an upcoming show, go on a tour backstage, or just kick back with a picnic and enjoy Spring Music Festival in the park. Whether you’re a regular visitor to Gasworks Arts Park, or you’ve never been here before, enjoy this free event for the whole family.

Relax in the Gasworks Park
From 1pm to 5pm, enjoy FREE music in the park. Featuring Boadz, Rosie Burgess Band, Louis Majiwa and Australian rock music legend, Mick Thomas, pack a picnic and kick back on the grass for a relaxing afternoon.

Check out the Gasworks Theatre
From 12pm to 3pm, pop in an see an exclusive sneak peak of Dion Teasdale’s brand new production, Gone, in the Gasworks Theatre followed by a backstage tour of the venue.

Come and Try Community Classes
Did you know that there are nearly 200 community classes held at Gasworks Arts Park every year?! This is the perfect chance to try your hand at a few of them! Meditation, Yogalates, art classes… And it’s all free! Please note, due to unforeseen circumstances, Stop Motion Animation has been cancelled.

Meet the Resident Artists
Gasworks Arts Park is home to several incredibly talented resident artists. Check out the Sculpture Studio, Visual Arts Studios and Ceramics Studio, and enjoy some wonderful free art activities at the same time.
