From Nature Organic Sculpture Exhibition

From Nature was born from the notion of bringing Land Art to a public community arts space, to provide the public with the opportunity to view and experience ephemeral public sculptural works. The artworks are created using natural materials such as soil, bed rock, boulders, stones, logs, branches, leaves and water. Today From Nature has expanded to accommodate up to 40 sculptures.

This sublime outdoor open-air gallery offers audiences and art lovers a distinctive arts experience, displaying organic living art in an accessible daytime setting.
Each year From Nature asks artists to respond to the provocation:

What would happen next if the energy and vitality of the park grew in self-expression so that new forms became apparent, DNA began to change and evolve and surprising structures of transient beauty were made manifest?

Emerging from the ground, tree trunks, branches and walls, living sculptures will offer a window into the imagination.
We now invite applications to exhibit in the 2018 instalment of From Nature. Applications from artists, students of all ages, creative individuals and groups working in the fields of sculpture, ceramics, landscape architecture, floral design, and transitory installation art are encouraged to apply.

Please review the Site Map of 40 locations and select your Top 2 preferred locations, for your installation. If neither one of your choices is available, the Curator will allocate your site after discussing the options with you.
Subject to funding, Artists can apply to be considered for a $350 Materials Stipend. The Curators decision for the limited stipends will be based on size and complexity of the proposed installation.

The decisions of the Curator are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
