Saturday 25 March from 2pm to 4pm
The Angela Robarts-Bird Gallery
Four legs forward and tails in the hair for Gasworks’ first ever
Dog Party with artist Andrew Foster!
What better way to celebrate our first exhibition all about dogs than with a gallery viewing afternoon with your dog?
Artist Andrew Foster’s exhibition It’s a Dog’s Life: Both Ends of the Leash celebrates our furry friends and invites them to enjoy this free exhibition, all about them.
Join us on Saturday 25 March from 2pm to 4pm. Andrew Foster will be on hand to answer any interpretation questions the doggies may have, and every furry visitor will receive a FREE doggie biscuit from onsite cafe, Priscilla Jones.
What will your pet think about ‘Genus Confusion’? Is painting her thing, or is she more of a graphics kinda pooch? Andrew’s exhibition is informed by both styles, but developing artistic taste takes time. More time than in takes to chew on a shoe, that’s for sure!
Your Labradoodle, Cavadoodle, or not-sure-what-oodle will absolutely love the chance to sniff out our free gallery with other doggies. And, there’s an off lead area outside for them to run around in. Art and exercise, what more could any dog want?
Gasworks Arts Park is happy to create moments that bring people closer to art, and to their dogs too. We are always a family-friendly, child-friendly, and dog-friendly space. We regret to inform you that this is not a cat-friendly event. Sorry, cats.
Bring on the dogs!
