In this class we offer the opportunity to share music with other people of all sorts. We have CD and Ipod dock available, and each week, people will bring some of their favourite music to listen to (5 minute max excerpt) for everyone else to listen too and enjoy and discuss.
Participants will learn about the elements of music and how to discuss music on an analytical level as well as learn how to appreciate music, even if it’s not something we may enjoy listening too. It doesn’t matter what your age or skill level is, we all have one very important thing in common; we love music!
We have music groups set up around Melbourne for all different types of musicians. These music appreciation classes will work on a casual basis as well as an short course basis running for 5 weeks at a time. Please give us a call or shoot us an email to find out more!

Suitable for beginners & those with limited fitness. Challenging alternatives offered for those with previous Yoga or Pilates experience.
About the class:
Each class begins with a comprehensive warm-up using a fit-ball, followed by pilates core-strengthening exercises. Hatha, Astunga and Kundalini Yoga Asanas (postures) follow. The class ends with meditation and/or chanting (mantras). There is a strong focus throughout the class on Pranayama (breathing exercise).
Students are required to bring along their own yoga mat or towel, and fit-ball (60cm ball is the correct size for most students). Students attending a class for the first time are requested to call Anne before the class, and arrive 10 minutes earlier than the advertised class time to assess any special medical or fitness requirements.
