Sophia Legoe uses individual high fired ceramic objects to create site specific installations that often inhabit existing architecture. Her experiences of growing up on a farm near Robe in South Australia, combined with concepts explored by current advances in evolutionary sciences are the inspiration for her recent work.

Sofia holds a Bachlor of Fine Art (Honours) from the Victorian College of the Arts .

Sofia is currently on maternity leave from the Gasworks Ceramic Studio.
