Arts Victoria in partnership with Koori Business Network, the City of Port Phillip, Boonerwrung traditional owners and Gasworks Arts Park present Ngoloo Wurru – Deadly Arts Business Gathering.
Deadly Arts Business
Deadly Arts Business is a partnership program between Arts Victoria and Koori Business Network. The program aims to build successful, sustainable Indigenous arts businesses across Victoria by improving information links and networks; by progressing the development of distinctively Victorian contemporary Aboriginal art practice; and by facilitating economic opportunities in the arts to Indigenous people living and working in Victoria.
The Gathering
The Gathering will be a two-day multi-arts program featuring a creative mix of conference, performance, exhibition and practical workshops for Victorian Indigenous artists, art workers and communities interested in the arts. The Gathering will bring together Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and arts workers to develop skills, share knowledge, experiences and to have a voice about the future of their professional practice.
